The garden area is beautiful—such a nice spot to chill! The room was cozy with antique decor but breakfast could use more options. Also, keep in mind there’s no elevator for luggage. 😅

Absolutely loved the Thai dishes at a nearby restaurant! The flavors were out of this world! Plus, the beautiful old building added a charming vibe to our stay. The team was super helpful, making me feel right at home!

I returned home with some pesky bedbug marks, and there was a toilet issue that kept me up all night!

    charming, charming, charming

The garden area was an absolute oasis, perfect for sipping wine on our private terrace. Breakfast was a delightful spread, featuring freshly baked breads and delicious charcuterie, all made with love. Hélène’s warm hospitality made us feel like cherished friends rather than just guests.

stunning staircase, lovely antique pieces, charming period decor

The cleanliness left much to be desired!!! Carpets and pillows carried unpleasant odors, and the surrounding area looked neglected. More kitchen utensils would be appreciated, as well as improved amenities like accessible windows!!!

    charming decor
    exceptional service
    subpar breakfast

Loved the charming decor at Villa Victor Louis. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable, making our stay feel cozy and inviting. Staff provided exceptional service. they went out of their way to assist with recommendations and transportation. The only downside was the breakfast, which left much to be desired. With a high price point of €15, it offered limited options and lacked freshness. Overall, despite the breakfast hiccup, the ambience and service made our visit memorable.

    great location
    beautifully decorated rooms
    courtyard garden
    lacking family amenities

The location was perfect for exploring Bordeaux, only a short stroll to the city center. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated rooms, especially the lovely marble bathroom. My parent appreciated relaxing in the courtyard garden after a day of sightseeing.

My wife says that the hotel could offer more towels for families.

    Charming stay in Bordeaux

Had a lovely time staying here! The decor is super cozy and gave me all the feels. I loved how helpful the staff was, they really made me feel welcome and answered all my questions. The breakfast was decent—enjoyed some fresh pastries—but just a heads up, the stairs were kinda steep.

Charming stay in a delightful neighborhood!

Our stay at this lovely spot exceeded expectations! The courtyard garden served as a peaceful retreat after exploring Bordeaux. Hélène's breakfast, featuring fresh breads and local cheeses, was a true highlight. Future guests should explore nearby boulangeries for a taste of authentic French pastries. Just be cautious on the entry stairs!

    reasonable value
    tricky parking

It was just a balanced option for a budget stay in Bordeaux with reasonable value. The parking situation was a bit tricky but manageable, typical for the area. Bring comfy shoes for the city exploration, you’ll be walking a lot!
